ACTIVE BIRTH PREPARATION: A Physio-Led 3-Week Course for Confident, Informed Birth

This bespoke programme is designed for expectant mums seeking to feel empowered, informed, and physically prepared for labour and birth. Led by experienced pelvic health physiotherapists, this 3-week course combines expert guidance with practical, hands-on techniques to support both your body and mind throughout pregnancy and into labour. Women can join from 12 weeks onwards, and partners are warmly encouraged to participate.

You'll learn:

  • Safe and effective movement to prepare your body for birth

  • Breathing techniques to help you stay calm and focused during labour

  • Specific exercise guidance for each stage of pregnancy

  • Partner tips and birth support strategies

  • Confidence in your body’s ability to birth your baby

  • Guidance on optimising recovery in the early weeks postpartum

What makes this course different?
This small-group, physio-led course is guided by two senior pelvic health specialists and offers a comprehensive, evidence-based approach combining movement, breathwork, birth positioning, and personalised care. Unlike many other courses, it includes a one-to-one pelvic health assessment to tailor the preparation specifically to your body’s needs—helping you feel fully confident and supported for birth.
